Smriti Bahety is a dual-qualified lawyer (New York and India) focusing on cross-border M&A and projects and infrastructure transactions.

She advises public and private companies on an extensive range of corporate transactions and governance matters, including: acting for companies and investors on domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, disposals, investments, and joint ventures; advising companies on regulatory issues; acting for issuers, investors, and sponsors/underwriters on public and private securities offerings, debt security issuances, and secondary fund-raisings; acting for developers, sponsors, borrowers, and financial institutions on a variety of financing transactions; and providing general advice to corporate clients on company and commercial matters.

She also advises developers and sponsors on the development, financing, sale, and acquisition of complex and high-profile infrastructure and energy projects in Asia, including projects in India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, with a particular focus on renewable energy ventures.
