Emilia Bonine's practice focuses on antitrust law, including issues involving abuse of dominance and merger control. She advises major national and international clients on complex regulatory matters, helping them navigate the EU environment. She also has been involved in several merger filings with the European Commission and the Belgian Competition Authority.
Emilia's master's thesis focused on the impact of economic arguments in European competition law, specifically efficiency defenses in abuse of dominance cases. While earning her master's degree she was a member of the University of Antwerp's competition law moot court team that competed at King's College London against top universities from around the world.
