Sarah Archer's practice focuses on all aspects of corporate noncontentious and contentious restructuring and insolvency. She acts for a wide range of clients including lenders, creditors, investors, insolvency practitioners, and directors on domestic and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters and disputes.
Sarah's experience includes formal insolvency procedures, out-of-court restructurings, distressed acquisitions, portfolio sales, and contentious insolvency. She also advises financial institutions on their options from the enforcement of their security to refinancing and directors of financially distressed companies. Sarah has particular experience in the retail and property sectors.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2014, Sarah was on secondment for 14 months in the restructuring legal and the mid market business support teams at Lloyds Banking Group.
