Andrew Allen advises clients in a wide variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including all aspects of acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing.

Andrew has experience representing national and regional lenders in connection with various types of real estate secured lending, including multifamily, homebuilder, industrial, health care, office, and retail projects. He also advises real estate developers and real estate investment funds in connection with financing, general real property matters, and acquisitions and dispositions related to industrial, office, multifamily, retail, and mixed-use projects. In addition, he handles real property aspects of corporate transactions. Andrew's recent transactions prior to joining Jones Day include a $1.85 billion acquisition of approximately 36 properties in 8 states, and the sale of retail shopping centers in Virginia and North Carolina.

Before enrolling in law school, Andrew worked as an English instructor in Kobe, Japan.
