Ally Arias focuses her practice on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including contract disputes, business torts, and claims asserted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Ally is skilled at fact development and legal research projects. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ally served on a firmwide team conducting legal research regarding force majeure clauses, commercial impracticability, and impossibility. She also conducted research for Jones Day's compendium of anti-human trafficking laws.

Ally maintains an active pro bono practice. She represents women and children seeking asylum status in immigration court proceedings and assists in the representation of veterans through VetLex.

During law school, Ally served as the academic and professional development chair for First Generation Professionals and participated in Yale's Capital Punishment Clinic and the New Haven Legal Assistance Re-entry Clinic. In addition, Ally spent summers with the Harris County Public Defenders and the Texas Defender Service.

Ally was also a Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Law Fellow in 2016 with the Firm in the Houston Office. The SEO Law Fellowship program offers talented incoming law school students of color the opportunity to work at a top law firm during the summer before law school.
