ESG and Me – The Growing Reach of Environmental, Social, and Governance Reporting

12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time

More and more stakeholders are demanding information on the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) characteristics of businesses, reflecting a concern about corporate culture, sustainability, and ecological and social effects of investment decisions that extend beyond simple profitability. Various reporting standards and analytical approaches, admittedly still mostly voluntary in the United States, have been developed in an effort to satisfy the demand for this information. These new standards cover the impacts of a broad spectrum of business activity, from greenhouse gas emissions and biodiversity to human rights and social justice, to board and employee diversity.

Please join Chuck Wehland of Jones Day, Chris Abel of August Mack, and Natalie Burkart of Allstate for a webinar answering questions about ESG. The program will discuss the legal basis of ESG reporting, the topics included in it, how ESG relates to investment decisions and currently used financial analyses, its standards and criteria, and more.

We hope you will be able to participate in this informative presentation.

Chris Abel, CHMM, is the program manager for August Mack's closure department.

Chuck Wehland, is a partner in the Energy Practice at Jones Day.

Natalie Burkart is the managing director of global research and strategy for Allstate.
