Jones Day's Transatlantic Investment Forum | Reflections on the U.S. Elections
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The upcoming U.S. presidential election is likely to have a significant impact on the relationship between the United States and the rest of the world. Jones Day's next Transatlantic Investment Forum will examine the potential impact on businesses involved in or reliant on commercial relationships across the Atlantic, specifically trade and investment between the United States and the Netherlands.
We are delighted to announce our two headline speakers: Donald F. McGahn II, a Jones Day partner in Washington and former White House counsel, and Michiel Vos, a prominent Dutch political journalist, resident in and focusing on the United States. The speakers have extensive knowledge of the wider U.S. political landscape, as well as some of the personalities who will be at the center of the election process and in the elected administration. They will also provide keen insight into the legal and commercial structures whose future will be shaped by the outcome of the vote and which will determine the relationship of the United States with its global trading partners.
This Transatlantic Investment Forum will be in webinar format, hosted by Jones Day on an invitation-only basis. For further information, please contact Femke Kools at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you will be able to participate in this timely discussion.
