Women in IP Initiative

Jones Day’s Women in IP initiative addresses the underrepresentation of women in IP law through programming, networking, mentoring, and a dynamic speaker series. (Click here to learn how the initiative began.) Our Women in IP Speaker Series began in 2016 with quarterly CLE programs offered live in one of our domestic offices and broadcast online to participants in the U.S. and abroad. This series continues in 2020, expanding upon our earlier programs, to provide timely and informative discussions about intellectual property issues, courtroom advocacy, and leadership. In 2020, the program topics were expanded to address mental health and professional growth issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic and working from home.

Our Women in IP also continue to provide timely discussions of cutting edge IP issues by appearing regularly on Jones Day Talks® podcasts.
