Presentation on Release of Euronext Vade-Mecum from A to Z (2019) For Listed Companies

Rue de la Régence, Regentschapsstraat 4
1000 Brussels, Belgium

On February 26, 2019, the Brussels Office hosted a lunch presentation on the occasion of the release of the Vade-Mecum from A to Z for listed companies (2019 edition), which Jones Day prepared in collaboration with Euronext Brussels.

Euronext is the first pan-European stock exchange, spanning Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and the UK. Its unique model unites marketplaces that date back as far as the 17th century. In Brussels, Euronext operates one of its national regulated securities and derivatives markets.

The Vade-Mecum provides a guide to the main legal requirements applicable to companies listed on Euronext Brussels, presented in alphabetical order. Each Belgian listed company will receive a copy of the Vade-Mecum.

Presenting speakers were Vincent Van Dessel (CEO, Euronext Brussels), Benoît van den Hove (Head of Listing, Euronext Brussels), Thibaut Cruysmans (Head of Legal and Regulations, Euronext Brussels), Philippe Lambrecht (Chairman of the Belgian Association of Listed Companies), Matthieu Duplat (Partner, Jones Day Brussels) and Aurélie Cautaerts (Associate, Jones Day Brussels).

The audience was comprised of over 70 external participants, mostly representatives of Belgian listed companies.

A copy of the Vade-Mecum is provided in the accompanying PDF.
