American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: Energy-Related Appropriations

April 2009 White Paper

On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009. The ARRA includes a significant number of provisions that focus on the energy industry. This White Paper focuses on appropriations in the Act that are related to energy, which range from loans and grants for developing technologies to funds allocated to public agencies and nonprofit organizations.
