Employment Lawyer Flies Aid to Hurricane Zone, Fulton County Daily Report, Law.com

Jones Day's Doug Towns was featured in this article about Angel Flight and it's role in helping hurricane Katrina victims. Doug, a Labor & Employment lawyer in Jones Day's Atlanta Office, is a private pilot and has been flying for the Angel Flight of Georgia for six years. He also serves as its general counsel on a pro bono basis.

Each day after work he heads to DeKalb Peachtree airport where he is busy until midnight volunteering for Angel Flight of Georgia, which has been flying food, supplies, and medical personnel to small towns in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama where crews from FEMA and the Red Cross have not yet arrived.
