Peter McCall focuses his practice on complex commercial, class action, and construction litigation, arbitration, and transactions across the United States.
As part of Jones Day's nationally recognized global construction practice, Peter represents clients in domestic and international arbitration disputes as well as litigation in state and federal courts. He has substantial experience in matters arising from projects in the industrial manufacturing, higher education, public infrastructure, conventional power, and renewable energy sectors. His experience includes some of the largest onshore wind farms, solar power plants, and electrical grid battery storage system projects in the United States. In addition to his disputes practice, Peter regularly drafts and negotiates construction agreements and provides project advisory services.
Peter also has notable government procurement experience, litigating bid challenges on behalf of bidders and public entities at both the trial and appellate levels. His experience handling construction and industrial matters gives him a helpful perspective in approaching other forms of complex civil litigation including securities class actions.
Peter is an active member of the Homer S. Brown Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He also teaches a class on construction contracting issues for the Riverside Center for Innovation's BizFIT Plus Training Program, which supports the growth of Pittsburgh area construction businesses owned by minority and historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Peter was an associate at an international law firm where he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies in construction-related matters.
