Dr. Kerstin Henrich berät seit mehr als 13 Jahren Unternehmen und Finanzinvestoren bei komplexen Unternehmenskäufen, Venture Capital Investments sowie Transaktionen im Bereich Erneuerbare Energien. Mandanten aus den Bereichen Automotive, Logistik, Retail, der Kunststoffindustrie und anderen Branchen schätzen ihren lösungsorientierten und praktischen Beratungsansatz.

In letzter Zeit hat Frau Dr. Henrich u.a. einen börsennotierten Gesellschafter der Jumia Technologies AG, der Holdinggesellschaft der afrikanischen E-Commerce-Unternehmen Jumia und Kaymu, im Zusammenhang mit dem IPO des Unternehmens an der New Yorker Börse beraten. Darüber hinaus hat Frau Dr. Henrich Finanzinvestoren und Family Offices beim Erwerb sowie der Veräußerung von Wind- und Solarparks mit Kapazitäten von mehreren hundert Megawatt beraten. Zu ihren jüngsten Mandaten im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien gehört die Beratung einer deutschen Beteiligungsgesellschaft beim Verkauf der Mehrheitsbeteiligung an Italiens größter PV-Anlage, eines europäischen Family Office beim Erwerb der Projektrechte für einen Offshore-Windpark in der deutschen Ostsee sowie bei der erfolgreichen Teilnahme an der zweiten deutschen Ausschreibung der BNetzA für Offshore-Windkonzessionen und eines in Luxemburg ansässigen Asset Managers für institutionelle Investoren beim Erwerb eines Portfolios von Windkraft- und PV-Projekten von führenden Projektentwicklern wie z.B. juwi und Windwärts.

Vor ihrem Wechsel zu Jones Day begleitete Frau Dr. Henrich das kalifornische Solarunternehmen Sungevity bei Verhandlungen über ein Joint Venture mit E.ON.

Sie ist die Autorin des Kapitels zu den Besonderheiten der anglo-amerikanischen Vertragssystematik beim Unternehmenskauf im renommierten "Handbuch Unternehmenskauf" (Hrsg: Wolfgang Hölters), einem Standardwerk, das 2019 bereits in 9. Auflage erschienen ist.

Dr. Kerstin Henrich ist Alumna der Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes und engagiert sich regelmäßig bei Mentorenprogrammen. Sie ist Mitglied der Rechtsanwaltskammer Düsseldorf und der Deutsch-Amerikanischen Juristen-Vereinigung.

    Advised Findos Investor on the acquisition of Faist ChemTec Group, a manufacturer of products for reducing structure-borne sound for the automotive and home appliances industries from the Hannover Finanz Group and Faist Invest.

    Advised the main shareholders of Metro AG (the Beisheim, Haniel, and Schmidt-Ruthenbeck family offices) on the sales of: a portfolio of 45 retail properties (mostly METRO Cash & Carry wholesale-retail properties) to affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management L.P. and a portfolio of 23 retail properties (mostly food retailing markets) to a consortium of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund (MSREF) Global VII and Redos Real Estate.
