Daniel Benson focuses on appellate advocacy and critical motions practice. He has experience representing commercial clients in cross-border contract disputes as well as investment partnerships asserting claims in bankruptcy proceedings. Daniel maintains an active pro bono practice and has a particular interest in protecting the freedom of religion for people of all faiths.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Daniel was a legal fellow at a nonprofit organization in Washington, where he litigated cases involving the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
