Bart Green is an experienced litigator who represents companies and financial institutions in complex commercial disputes with a focus on securities issues. He has prosecuted and defended claims in federal and state courts across the United States. Bart also has represented companies, directors, and officers in independent investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal and state enforcement agencies.

Bart's experience includes defending Wells Fargo, as trustee, in a class action brought by institutional investors relating to residential mortgage-backed securities trusts; obtaining the dismissal of $1.9 billion in breach of contract and fraud claims brought against Garmin by LightSquared; representing Lehman Brothers Holdings in a 35-day trial against Barclays Capital, in claims arising from the sale of the Lehman broker-dealer business to Barclays shortly after the Lehman bankruptcy; and representing American Apparel in an SEC investigation, arising out of the conduct of the former CEO regarding alleged financial improprieties, that concluded with no enforcement action.

Bart is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Before joining the Firm's Irvine Office in 2014, Bart practiced law for several years in the Firm's New York Office. He was one of the recipients of New York Legal Aid Society's 2012 and 2013 Pro Bono Publico Awards for outstanding service to the New York Legal Aid Society and its clients. Before law school, Bart worked for four years in Tokyo, Japan.
