Asian Women in Leadership Summit 2016

The 2016 Asian Women in Leadership Summit will provide an interactive platform to exchange views and reflect upon the challenges faced by Asian women in achieving leadership roles and learn from their experiences to create a culture that promotes gender diversity in a sustainable way and leads to the greater success of women in the executive leadership and board level roles.

The delegates will include CXO’s, senior government officials, and senior leaders across a wide range of industries including business, government, arts, sports, media, and entertainment. Successful women leaders from all walks of life will share their journeys to success which will be a learning experience for individuals and organizations in creating strategies and an environment essential to women achieving their potential.

The conference will feature discussions of such topics as:
  • Why Diversity matters? How are leading organizations promoting gender diversity? What roles are successful leaders playing to nurture and promote women leaders in Asia? 
  • Conversations with Successful Asian Women Business Leaders on their journey 
  • What are government and international agencies doing to accelerate change? What are some of the "best practices" being adopted in different countries by the government and organizations? 
  • Asian Women achievers beyond business. 
  • How are young female entrepreneurs building businesses and shaping the future? 
  • What are the key challenges and critical success factors? What role can organizations and governments play to accelerate the change? What can each of us do as an individual?

Sushma Jobanputra, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day's Singapore Office, together with Myia Ross, Head of Global Customer Experience, Google - Asia Pacific, and Harshika Patel, Managing Director Macro Markets Sales, JP Morgan, will serve as panelists for the "Conversations with Successful Asian Women Business Leaders on their Journey."
