Angela Gott is a trial attorney focusing on intellectual property cases, primarily trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret disputes. Her practice also includes domestic and international trademark prosecution, as well as copyright registration.

Angela frequently advises clients regarding protection and enforcement of trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, and related rights through litigation. She has represented clients in federal courts across the country in cases involving claims of patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of contract, among others.

Angela's experience includes management and prosecution of trademark portfolios of various sizes. She regularly counsels clients in determining when and where to seek trademark registration and on whether and how to maintain existing trademark rights. Angela also has represented clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Angela has served as an adjunct instructor of legal writing and a legal drafting instructor at The University of Akron School of Law. She is a member of the International Trademark Association, Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Judge John M. Manos American Inn of Court.
