Bill Smith has significant experience in a broad range of business litigation matters, including emphasis on cases involving trademark, false advertising, copyright, patent, and antitrust laws. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Third, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits; and numerous federal district courts.
Bill regularly counsels clients on advertising, copyright, trademark, and technology issues. He has represented product manufacturers and others in the food, fragrance, pharmaceutical, furniture, jewelry, computer, and communications industries. His practice has included the development and implementation of intellectual property compliance programs and related litigation. He is a member of the Intellectual Property and the Computer Law Sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
