Warren Postman litigates and advises clients on complex and novel questions of federal law, with a particular emphasis on constitutional law, administrative law, and cross-border litigation. Warren has recently advised clients on the constitutional implications of state-specific renewable energy subsidies, retroactive application of the Dodd-Frank financial reforms, and FDA labeling requirements. He also has worked closely on cases involving the extraterritorial application of RICO, the Sherman Act, and U.S. securities laws and the domestic enforcement of foreign judgments and First Amendment immunity against state tort liability.

As counsel for the plaintiffs in Bluman v. FEC, Warren coauthored briefs arguing that the federal ban on political spending by nonpermanent resident aliens violates the First Amendment and recently argued the case before a special three-judge panel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
