Victoria Dorfman's practice focuses on providing legal analysis and strategy, as well as briefing and argument, in complex cases. She has argued before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits and the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, of New York state court. She has represented clients in the U.S. Supreme Court and in federal and state courts throughout the country.

Victoria's areas of experience include jurisdiction and civil procedure, such as forum non conveniens, standing, personal and subject matter jurisdiction, as well preliminary and permanent injunctions; antitrust and general commercial litigation, such as the intersection of antitrust and patent law, vertical price-fixing, Alcoholic Beverages Control Law, FCRA litigation, FAA litigation, and contract disputes; bankruptcy, such as challenges to Chrysler's § 363 sale and Adelphia's post-bankruptcy appeal; constitutional litigation; and international arbitration.

Victoria is a native speaker of Russian. She has been active in the American Bar Association and is a co-chair of the ABA's Appellate Practice Committee's Publications Subcommittee and is a co-editor-in-chief of the ABA Appellate Practice Journal. She has published articles on federal jurisdiction, statutory interpretation, and decisional sequencing, as well as on how to succeed in a law firm appellate practice. She is also a coauthor of a chapter on jurisdiction in A Practitioner's Guide to Appellate Advocacy, published by the American Bar Association.
