Vincent Agulhon's practice focuses on international and French direct tax matters. He has substantial experience in the tax structuring aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and has advised investment funds and foreign investors on French transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of real estate, and multinationals on group reorganizations, tax consolidation, and the tax aspects of structured finance. He also represents corporations in connection with tax audits, disputes, and litigation, including in connection with EC law.

Vincent's recent representations include advising Blackstone in its leveraged acquisition and subsequent reorganization of a portfolio of French hotels, General Electric Real Estate in connection with several acquisitions and the formation of a joint venture, Pfizer in various reorganizations including the integration of recently acquired companies, Rodamco in its cross-border merger with Unibail, and a group of Dutch pension funds in their successful challenge of French dividend withholding taxes based on principles of EC law. Other clients include Athlon Car Lease, Bell Microproducts, Morgan Stanley, Partech, PepsiCo, Rhodia, Société Générale, and Westbrook.

Vincent coordinates Jones Day's Tax Practice in Europe.

He has authored a number of tax-related articles for French economic newspapers and legal publications such as Les Echos, Option Finance, and Revue de Droit Fiscal.

He is a member of the Paris Bar, the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux, and the International Fiscal Association.
