Ted Kroke focuses on advising companies on all technology-related matters as well as outsourcing projects. He has handled dozens of software projects, all types of contractual telecommunications matters (including satellite matters, powerline communications, and network outsourcing), advised clients on the setting up and operation of e-commerce and m-commerce platforms, and handled several other types of IT projects and IT services relationships. In addition, Ted has substantial experience advising on IT outsourcing and BP outsourcing projects where he puts special attention on service management issues.
Representative matters include: counseling SAP on their customer agreements, advising Nokia Siemens Networks on the worldwide outsourcing of real estate management functions, and advising Diebold on the provisioning and operation of banking terminals and related services. In addition, Ted drafted and negotiated the outsourcing agreements for one of the largest IT outsourcing transactions in Germany to date. Additional clients include ADP, DAB, Eckes Granini, GM, and Monster.
From 1997 to 2007, Ted practiced at another international law firm, where he advised on M&A and joint venture transactions. In addition, he acquired substantial experience relating to the practical side of handling IT projects during a secondment as the head of the legal department to a German software company.
Ted is author of the annotation to the frequency chapter of the German Telecommunications Act published in Telekommunikationsgesetz, Kommentar und Vorschriftensammlung ("Telecommunications Act, Annotations and Collection of Regulations"), Kohlhammer, 2005.
