Rule of Law
Jones Day has a strong commitment to the development of the Rule of Law in countries around the globe. Some of the Firm's initial efforts on rule-of-law issues have been in Asia and the United States. One such example is our relationship with the Public-Private Partnership for Justice Reform in Afghanistan in which Jones Day has partnered with the U.S. State Department, judges across the country, law schools, and other firms to provide training and support for lawyers and judges in Afghanistan attempting to advance the rule of law.
