Rosalind Connor works in the field of pensions and benefits with both a UK and international focus. She advises companies and trustees on the issues relating to the establishment, funding, regulation, and termination and winding up of U.K. pension schemes. She has extensive experience advising on pension issues in the fields of UK and international transactions and business rescue.

Rosalind has recently advised on the closure to accrual of the defined benefit section of the pension scheme of a large London financial institution. She also has advised on and drafted documentation for a new defined benefit scheme in a complex joint venture arrangement. She advised on the pensions issues in the restructuring of the UK subsidiaries of a U.S.-owned group following a chapter 11 filing, negotiating with four pension schemes, their advisers, and the Pensions Regulator and Pension Protection Fund, among others.

Rosalind regularly writes articles and speaks at conferences on pensions topics. She sits on the London Committee of the Pensions Management Institute, in which she has been admitted as an associate, and on the International Committee of the Association of Pension Lawyers. She also is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Organization and the International Pensions and Employee Benefits Law Association. She recently coauthored a book, Global Issues in Employee Benefits, published by Thomson Reuters.
