PLI’s Enforcement 2012: Multi-Agency Enforcement Efforts

April 18, 2012

PLI New York Center
810 Seventh Avenue at 53rd Street
21st floor
New York, New York 10019

April 18, 2012     9:00 am - 5:00 pm

PLI’s Enforcement 2012: Multi-Agency Enforcement Efforts will focus on the financial crisis and the continuing rollout of the Dodd-Frank Act, as we continue to see unprecedented changes in our economic, business and regulatory regimes in general, and in enforcement efforts in particular. The changes result from the implementation of broadly sweeping legislation, new regulations, new regulators, and increased enforcement efforts. This unique program brings together panels of senior staff from the various enforcement and regulatory agencies - including the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, FINRA, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Attorney’s Office, U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and U.S. Department of the Treasury - moderated by a law firm enforcement practitioner, to discuss agency priorities, how they are working together, and offer best practices for today’s rapidly changing enforcement environment.

Joan McKown, a partner in Jones Day's Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice, will be co-chair for this PLI event.

A webcast will be broadcast simultaneously. To register for this event or the live webcast, and to calculate CLE credit for this program in your state, please visit the Practising Law Institute® website:
