Pat Villareal is nationally recognized as an advisor and a litigator for public companies and their directors and officers facing securities and corporate governance litigation and related matters. She co-chairs the Firm's Securities and Shareholder Litigation & SEC Enforcement practice. Cited as a leading lawyer in securities litigation by Chambers USA, she was described as having a "virtually unmatchable level of experience" and a "good grasp of how the courts work." She has been highly successful in winning securities cases — in motions to dismiss under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act, in motions for summary judgment, and in Daubert motions.
