Pittsburgh partner Roy A. Powell wins Variety - the Children’s Charity (of Pittsburgh)’s 2017 Advocacy Award

Roy A. Powell, a partner in the Pittsburgh Office of the global law firm Jones Day, won the 2017 Advocacy Award, presented by Variety - the Children’s Charity (of Pittsburgh). Mr. Powell was presented the Advocacy Award by former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett at Variety’s 90th annual gala on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Heinz Field.

According to Variety’s website, the annual gala is "a memorable event to raise funds that support free adaptive mobility and communication devices for children with disabilities and to celebrate kids having the opportunity to discover the possibilities for their lives." For more information, visit Variety’s website:
