Peter Faber has acted as lead adviser on numerous public and private UK and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, in over 30 years of practice in the City of London. He also leads the Firm's media and publishing M&A initiative in London and has particular experience in the pharma/biotech and related sectors.
Peter was the lead London lawyer in: Nissin Food Product's acquisition of a minority interest in Angleside Limited, the holding company of LLC Mareven Food Central, Russia's largest noodle maker; OM Group's acquisition of the electronics business of Rockwood Holdings; Rhodia's sale of its worldwide silicones business to China National Blue Star and the separate sale of its food ingredients business to Danisco; the sale of The Deutsch Group (a global manufacturer of high-performance electronic connectors) to Wendel Investissement; and the sale by sanofi-aventis of Delta Biotechnology to Novozymes Biotechnology. He also advises Bayer AG and its affiliates on M&A matters in the UK.
Peter is coauthor of M&A Strategies for the UK, published by Aspatore Books, Boston, Massachusetts, in 2007. He also lectures at seminars on various corporate law topics, including corporate sales by way of auction process.
