Peggy Cheung's practice focuses on IP portfolio creation and management, conducting IP audits, advising on enforcement and exploitation of IP rights, licensing, and technology transfer matters, and providing IP support on M&A and other commercial transactions.

Peggy has more than 20 years experience in managing worldwide trademark and design portfolios and has successfully protected and defended numerous well-known brands for companies based in the U.S., Europe, and Greater China. She has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies in a diverse range of industry sectors including cosmetics, household and personal products, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, fashion and garment companies, and luxury brands, electronics, and telecommunications.

In addition to being a solicitor, Peggy is a registered trade mark attorney before the European Trade Mark Office, the U.K., and Canada. Peggy holds a number of professional and honorary appointments including being the past president and current council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Trade Mark Practitioners (HKITMP); councilor of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, Hong Kong Chapter (APAA); chairman of the organizing committee of the 2009 APAA General Assembly & Annual Meeting; and honorary legal advisor of the Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Medicine, the Sun Chieh Yeh Foundation, the Hong Kong College of Cardiology, and the International Chinese Heart Health Network. Peggy also sits on the panel of the Registration of Persons Tribunal, hearing and adjudicating immigration cases. She is also a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel of Hong Kong.
