Oliver Passavant has practiced in the Firm's offices in the U.S., Germany, and Saudi Arabia for over 20 years, providing advice on national and international corporate, commercial, energy, and securities law. He has served as counsel to U.S., European, and Middle East companies in numerous transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, mergers, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, technology licenses, and corporate compliance. He has developed in-depth experience in the area of energy law, including all aspects of renewable energy.
In association with Alsulaim Alawaji & Partners Law Firm, Oliver is the Partner-in-Charge of the Alkhobar Office in Saudi Arabia.
Oliver was responsible for major international transactions for clients such as Banner Industries, BFGoodrich, Bombardier, Braas & Co. GmbH, Didier-Werke AG, Diebold, E.ON AG, Firestone/Bridgestone Corp., G4S, Hunting plc, IWKA AG, J.M. Huber Corp., J.M. Smucker Co., Linde AG, Lucent Technologies, Mannesmann AG, OHB AG, Policy Management Systems Corp., Preussag AG, Rhône-Poulenc S.A., SASIB S.A., STERIS Corporation, and The Washington Group. During the past years, he has been involved in several cross-border energy projects.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the German-American Chamber of Commerce, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, and the German-American Law Association.
