Noel Rodriguez represents entities in a broad range of commercial litigation matters involving contracts, creditors' rights and remedies, insolvency-related litigation, prejudgment provisional remedies, and patent litigation and other intellectual property rights. She also has represented entities against False Claims Act cases and tort and unfair business practice claims under the Alien Tort Statute (ATS), the Torture Victim Protection Act (TVPA), and the California Business & Professions Code Section 17200. In addition to her litigation work, Noel conducts internal investigations and counsels clients in the area of privacy and data protection.

Noel's recent experience includes advising a client on the applicability of HIPAA to a state department of corrections; representing an energy company against allegations of patent infringement that resulted in a very favorable settlement; defending an international energy company against common law tort, ATS, and TVPA claims that resulted in a complete defense verdict; representing secured creditors in relief from stay motions in bankruptcy courts; representing banks in creditor rights and remedies actions arising from construction loan agreements; obtaining a $25 million judgment for a banking client arising from a breach of two guaranty agreements; and investigating allegations of safety violations for an energy company.

Noel is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). Noel served as co-chair of the board of directors for AIDS Legal Referral Panel during the 2010 term and as a member of board from 2007 to 2010 and as co-chair of the BASF's Law Academy Advisory Committee from 2009 to 2011.
