United States Golf Association chooses Glen Nager as its general counsel

Glen Nager was appointed General Counsel of the United States Golf Association at its annual meeting Feb. 4 in Atlanta. The voluntary position is part time. Glen will continue to chair Jones Day's Issues & Appeals Practice.
At the USGA, Glen will work with in-house and outside counsel on the full range of legal work associated with an organization that has hundreds of employees, hosts 13 major national golf championships, and sets standards for golf equipment. The job also has unique aspects, like working with the Scotland's Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews to oversee the rules of golf.
