My Linh Vu-Grégoire advises clients on cross-border mergers, takeovers, and restructurings, with particular experience in transactions for companies with cross-border listings, takeover defenses, and corporate governance.
She advised a client listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on a dual listing and a potential exchange offer (OPE) with a French CAC-40 company, a CAC-40 on the potential tender offer of an Australian-listed company, a U.S. private equity client on its potential tender offer for a French CAC-40, an Asian client on its proposed minority stake in a French CAC-40 with cross-shareholdings, and a NYSE-listed company on its dual listing on the Euronext and contemplated unsolicited offer for a German company listed on the Deutsche Börse. In 2003, when My Linh acted as interim general counsel for a NYSE-listed company, she led the acquisition of a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed company.
In addition, My Linh recently advised Mitsubishi Corporation in a strategic uranium mining joint venture with Areva NC and a mining joint venture with Eramet S.A. She continues to advise Mitsubishi on strategic projects in France. My Linh also advised The Sherwin-Williams Company in its successful acquisition of Becker Acroma SAS, a Swedish company with activities in more than 20 countries. She acted as international counsel to Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE) in its successful defense against United Technologies' unsolicited tender offer.
My Linh has advised on international arbitration and litigation matters, including several notable international arbitrations before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
