Miriam Weiler represents clients in all aspects of real estate transactions throughout the United States, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, construction, financing, and refinancing of commercial, retail, and multifamily residential real property. She also represents financial institutions in construction lending, the credit enhancing of tax-exempt bonds, and equity investments in connection with the financing of affordable multifamily housing.
Miriam has an active pro bono practice, working on cases such as defending the artist Shepard Fairey against copyright infringement claims involving the well-known "Obama Hope" poster.
