Marc Ricchiute defends companies and individuals in a variety of regulatory and criminal investigations. Marc recently represented institutions and senior corporate officers in government investigations involving improper accounting and false financial statements, insider trading, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), broker-dealer supervision, and antitrust offenses. He also is experienced in conducting internal investigations, counseling management concerning these investigations, and implementing corporate compliance programs.

In addition, Marc's practice includes the defense of companies in civil antitrust litigation. Marc was a member of the Jones Day team that successfully defended Alderwoods Group in connection with consolidated class actions alleging anticompetitive practices in the sale and pricing of caskets. Marc also was a member of the Jones Day team that represented Bayer AG and its affiliates in connection with a series of investigations of alleged price-fixing in the rubber and polyurethane industries and in the related federal and state civil actions.

Marc maintains an active pro bono practice, including the representation of a petitioner seeking appeal of a criminal sentence in the Sixth Circuit and the representation of a client seeking cancellation of removal in an immigration matter in the Ninth Circuit.
