Laurent Martinet's practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, including enforcement procedures, claims and risk analysis, indemnification claims in the M&A context, directors and officers liability, sales and distribution regulation, product liability, and environmental health and safety.

Also involved in issues related to litigation and prelitigation cases management, Laurent works closely with the Firm's other practices, notably the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in connection with risks linked to restructuring transactions, including indemnification agreements, shareholders agreements, and industrial risks.

He advises French and international clients such as EDF, Etam, Etablissement Français du Sang, Bayer, Crown, Parker Hannifin, Rhodia, Timken, and Westbrook. As such, his work involves a number of industry sectors, including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, steel, and retail. Laurent is also very active in the aviation and airline industries and is part of the multidisciplinary team set up by the Firm to anticipate and respond to the new challenges facing this sector.

Laurent heads the corporate and commercial practice in the Paris Office. He regularly authors articles on litigation and regulatory matters, such as product liability and health law and the legal risks associated with economic activities. His articles are published in the French economic dailies, including Les Echos and La Tribune, and in the legal press, such as Lettre des Juristes Associés, Revue des Contrats, Petites Affiches, and Gazette du Palais. He is a lecturer in law and economics at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (Sciences Po).
