For more than 30 years, Lynn Coe has counseled many of the nation's largest providers, underwriters, and credit enhancers on innovative health care financings. These transactions have entailed a wide variety of document structures, including multiple modes, embedded derivatives, forward commitments and swaps, FHA and GNMA credit enhancement, and pooled financings. In addition to serving as bond counsel, he represents underwriters, issuers, borrowers, purchasers, credit enhancers, trustees, and workout participants.

Lynn served as bond counsel to the Illinois Health Facilities Authority from 1977 until its merger into the Illinois Finance Authority, during which it issued over $20 billion of debt obligations. He continues to serve as bond counsel in financings with the Illinois Finance Authority. He also has worked on transactions with other issuers in Illinois, 34 other states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, including as bond counsel to Baptist Health South Florida for $800 million of fixed rate bonds, bond counsel to Methodist Healthcare in Memphis for the simultaneous initial issuance of $270 million of variable rate bonds and $107.02 million of fixed rate bonds, and the fixed rate conversion of $168.07 million of outstanding variable rate bonds and underwriter's counsel on $450 million of bonds for Phoenix Children's Hospital.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel, was recommended in Chambers USA for health care in Illinois starting in 2009 and recognized as a "leader in their field" in 2011, and was named a leading Illinois public finance lawyer in "Leading Lawyers Network" starting in 2003.
