Katherine Ritchey is a commercial litigator who has substantial experience in federal courts around the country and in California state courts, as well as before the California Public Utilities Commission. She has supervised all phases of litigation, has tried cases in federal and state courts, and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Katherine also has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. She serves on the Northern District of California's mediator panel.

Katherine has litigated a broad range of issues, including contract, fraud, misrepresentation, unfair business practice, banking, real estate, insurance, and Lanham Act claims. She has extensive experience with ERISA disputes, including Department of Labor investigations, fiduciary cases, and single plaintiff and class action benefits cases.

Recently, Katherine won an anti-SLAPP motion resulting in dismissal of all claims in a real estate finance matter. Katherine is managing real estate finance litigation for several banks, and also advises many clients on ERISA litigation issues.
