Todd Kennard represents clients in commercial matters, including dealer/distributor/franchisor matters, securities cases, ERISA matters, executive compensation, and consumer cases in various states and jurisdictions throughout the United States. He has also represented clients involved in contract, fraud, antitrust, fiduciary duty, construction, accidents, bankruptcy litigation, and other matters. Todd has taken and defended more than 100 depositions, including experts working in the fields of dealer network planning, accounting, securities issues, marketing, statistics, disease causation, medical science, epidemiology, warnings, and other areas, as well as other fact witnesses.

Todd's representations include General Motors in dealer litigation, including terminations, trademark issues, RICO claims, antitrust claims, and purchase agreements. Other recent matters Todd has handled relate to executive compensation and stock issues. Todd also represented Chrysler on dealer matters in Chrysler's bankruptcy proceedings. He has represented clients in securities and ERISA matters, including pension fund litigation related to the AOL/Time Warner merger. Todd has served as chief trial counsel before courts and administrative law judges in a number of jurisdictions and forums, and he has handled and been involved in appellate proceedings at the state and federal court levels, including as lead counsel in the Ohio Supreme Court.  A frequent author on franchising issues, Todd has also spoken and published on privacy related matters.

Todd is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is coordinator of the New Lawyers Group in the Columbus Office and is a member of the Recruiting Committee for that office.
