Jones Day's Sally Crawford chosen as Dallas Bar Association's President-Elect

Sally Crawford, a partner in the global law firm Jones Day, has been elected by the 10,000-member Dallas Bar Association as President-Elect. She will become DBA President in 2013.

Ms. Crawford, a member of Jones Day's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, was elected to the DBA Board in 2004 and elected Chair of the Board of Directors in 2009. She has chaired numerous DBA Committees, including the Admissions & Membership Committee, Pro Bono Activities Committee, and Peer Assistance Committee. She has also served as President of the Community Service Fund and Co-Chair of the Campaign for Equal Access to Justice.

Named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Dallas Bar Association in 2005 and recognized by the State Bar of Texas with the Frank J. Scurlock Award for outstanding pro bono service, Ms. Crawford was named one of D Magazine's "Best Women Lawyers in Dallas" in 2010 and received the Distinguished Alumni Award this year from the University of Texas at Dallas.
