Jones Day's Mike Ginsberg elected chair of National Institute for Trial Advocacy

Mike Ginsberg, a partner in the Pittsburgh Office of global law firm Jones Day, was elected Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) November 2. He will serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2013.

NITA is a national organization of lawyers, professors, and judges dedicated to the training and development of skilled and ethical legal advocates to improve the adversarial justice system. 

Mr. Ginsberg is a trial lawyer who concentrates on the representation of policyholders in disputes with insurance companies regarding coverage for product and environmental liabilities, toxic torts, and bad faith. He advises clients on the insurance aspects of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcies. Mr. Ginsberg's practice also involves the trial of environmental claims and commercial disputes. In addition, he assists clients with the evaluation and management of asbestos liabilities.
