Jones Day's Global Competition Law practice ranks in "Competition Super League" top 10 for seventh time
February 2011
In its most recent compilation of the "Competition Super League," legal publisher Practical Law Company ranked Jones Day's
Antitrust & Competition Law Practice as the sixth best competition law practice in the world. The ranking is based on research conducted for the publisher's Cross-border Competition Handbook 2011 and PLC Which lawyer? ranking, which uses general counsel interviews, peer reviews, and analyses of the law firms most active on recent deals and cases. Jones Day has been listed among the top 10 competition law firms every year since the ranking's inception in 2004.
According to PLC, Competition Super League results are based on lawyer and law firm recommendations in the areas of competition/antitrust, EU competition law, and EU state aid in over 50 jurisdictions. Firms qualifying for inclusion in the Super League must receive recommendations in at least two countries, with additional weight given to recommendations in the key centers of competition activity – the European Union and Washington, DC.
