Jones Day partner Bernard Amory wins global Regulatory Communications Lawyer of the Year award for sixth consecutive year

Jones Day partner Bernard Amory again has been named "Regulatory Communications Lawyer of the Year" in the 2010 Who's Who Legal Awards. Mr. Amory has won this award every year since its inception in 2005. Who’s Who Legal bases its decisions on input from clients and peers. 

Mr. Amory is based in Jones Day's Brussels Office and oversees the Firm's Antitrust & Competition Law Practice in Europe.  His experience in the regulatory communications area began with his appointment as an official in the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission. With responsibility for the application of the competition rules in the telecommunications sector, he played a key role in the liberalization of the European telecommunications market. As a Commission official and as a private practitioner, he has dealt with the full range of regulatory matters on behalf of fixed and mobile operators and has assisted governments across the world with regard to telecommunications legislation.
