June Ghezzi has managed a wide range of general business and complex commercial litigation matters and has first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts in cases that have gone to verdict, as well as experience in alternative dispute resolution and administrative proceedings. Her trial experience covers a broad array of topics such as disputes involving the sale of business, sexual harassment, theft of trade secrets, contract disputes, and police brutality.

June has extensive experience in defending pharmaceutical product liability actions and has acted as lead counsel in coordinating and defending more than 100 such cases filed in federal and state courts nationwide on behalf of a major pharmaceutical company. As part of the federal multidistrict litigation, she mediated over 90 cases to resolution, with the remainder resolved through summary judgment or dismissals. June has also defended clients in product cases involving the automobile industry, beryllium, hospital products, medical devices, and a variety of pharmaceutical products. In addition, she has defended and prosecuted commercial contract and tort cases that include corporate acquisitions, civil RICO, government contracting, and insurance contracts and has extensive experience in class actions and in counseling clients in connection with employment disputes and in obtaining relief on restrictive covenants.

June is a member of the ABA and the Trial Bar of the United States Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the country and has argued appeals in the Seventh, Eighth, and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals. She has lectured extensively on attorney-client and work product issues in the product liability context as well as in connection with the ever changing role of in-house corporate counsel. She has served on the board of directors of the Federal Bar Association, Chicago Chapter; has been an instructor on expert witnesses; and has participated in training NITA instructors for trial workshops.
