Jack Huang's practice encompasses a broad range of international investments, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, venture capital, technology licensing, infrastructure projects, and other corporate and financial transactions. He was one of the first international corporate lawyers to pioneer the representation of multinational clients in China investment matters in the late 1970s. He also has substantial experience in investment structuring matters concerning international high net worth families and closely held companies. Jack is Partner-in-Charge of the Taipei Office.

Jack serves on the board of many companies and civic organizations. From 1996 through 2009, he was a director of the Human Rights Education Foundation, where he led the NT$30 million fund-raising campaign to successfully establish the human rights memorial park on Green Island, which was praised by Dr. Nelson Mandela as the "first human rights memorial in Asia."

Jack has practiced law in Hong Kong, New York, and Taipei. He is a member of the Taipei Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He has been recognized by Chambers Global and Asia Pacific Legal 500 as one of the world's leading lawyers for many years.

Jack has written and spoken frequently on various legal topics. In 2004, articles from Jack's column in the Economic Daily News were compiled into a highly acclaimed book entitled Legal Victory — Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology Licensing published by the CommonWealth Magazine Company.
