Jack Huang's practice encompasses a broad range of international investments, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, joint ventures, technology licensing, technology enterprise representations, private equity and venture capital investments, infrastructure projects, and other corporate transactions. Jack is one of the first international corporate lawyers who pioneered in representing multinational clients in China investment matters in the late 1970s. He also has substantial experience in investment structuring matters concerning international high net worth families and closely held companies. He has practiced law in Hong Kong, New York, and Taipei.

Jack serves on the board of many companies and civic organizations. From 1996 through 2009, he was a director of the Human Rights Education Foundation, where he led a NT$30 million fund-raising campaign to establish a human rights memorial park on Green Island, which Nelson Mandela praised as the "first human rights memorial in Asia." He has served as chairman of the Taiwan Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Council (MAPECT) since 2014 and received MAPECT's "M&A Outstanding Achievement Award" in 2013.

Jack has published four books: Legal Victory — Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology Licensing (CommonWealth Magazine, 2004); Jack Huang's Perspective on M&A — A Game for Transforming Taiwan Companies (Economic Daily News, 2012); Jack Huang's Perspective on M&A II— A Key to Transforming Taiwan's Industries (Economic Daily News, 2014); and Transforming Taiwan – Jack Huang’s interviews with 24 business leaders (Economic Daily News, 2015).
