Jimmy Vallee has extensive experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters, with a particular focus involving domestic and international energy companies (including the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P), midstream, and energy-related service industries). Jimmy's clients include public and private corporations, master limited partnerships (MLPs), investment banking firms, and private equity funds.
Jimmy has represented several major energy companies in substantial M&A and corporate finance transactions, including American Electric Power, Atlas Energy, Atlas Pipeline Partners, BP, CenterPoint Energy, Chevron, Electricité de France, Halliburton, M-I Swaco, PennEnergy Resources, Quicksilver Resources, Rangeland Energy, Reliant Energy, Smith International, Spotted Hawk Development, Tesoro, and The Williams Companies.
Jimmy is a frequent speaker on M&A, corporate governance, energy regulation and transactions, and securities law. He served on the editorial advisory board of Natural Gas Contracts, published by Thompson Publishing Group. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Association for Corporate Growth (Houston Chapter), the Energy Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Bar Association.
