John Neumann represents clients in complex real estate transactions, focusing on financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. He advises institutional investors and many of the Firm's Fortune 500 clients in connection with their real estate requirements and regional and national financial institutions and investors in connection with construction financing, permanent financing, and community development financing.
John's representative clients include Anglo Irish Bank, Bank of America, Developers Diversified Realty Corporation, Goldman Sachs, KeyBank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Navistar International Corporation, R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, Simon Property Group, and Wells Fargo Bank.
John is a board member of The Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic, an organization dedicated to providing quality legal representation, at no cost, to the impoverished and received the Charles V. Hogren Distinguished Service Award, the clinic's highest honor, for providing outstanding pro bono representation and for being a champion of the clinic's mission and vision. He also has provided pro bono legal representation for The Chicago History Museum and several theater companies.
