Giovanni Marini has many years of experience assisting domestic and international clients in all kinds of real estate transactions.
Giovanni has assisted national and foreign clients in the development of commercial, residential, and industrial properties in complex joint ventures, such as significant real estate nonperforming loans transactions, financial leases, corporate finance, and asset finance. His practice deals with all issues of construction, financing, insurance, environmental, and administrative law.
Giovanni is experienced in complex corporate reorganizations and restructurings and has a broad corporate and commercial background with a substantial practice in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions. He also advises on issues related to intellectual property, industrial property, antitrust, and labor.
Giovanni's representative clients include ING Real Estate Development International, LaSalle Investment Management, Morgan Stanley, Nilfisk-Advance, Société Générale, and Sunpower Corporation.
Before joining Jones Day, he practiced in the Washington, London, and Brussels offices of major U.S. and U.K. law firms.
Giovanni writes and lectures on issues of Italian real estate, corporate, and commercial law.
