Glenn Krinsky advises academic medical centers and major nonprofit hospital systems in California, throughout the United States, and internationally with their regulatory, transactional, operational, and investigatory affairs. Glenn's experience encompasses the full spectrum of health care delivery system and biomedical research enterprise issues, including academic affiliations, corporate governance, technology transfer, and national and international clinical trial research collaborations. He is also one of Jones Day's stateside leaders of its Middle East health care practice.

Glenn has further established himself as the nation's foremost practitioner in the representation of organ transplant programs, having represented 37 such programs in 23 states and the District of Columbia over the past two decades. These representations include complex proceedings in federal courts and before the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Prior to joining Jones Day, Glenn served as chief legal officer and executive vice president of City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute in Duarte, California, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. He was responsible for all legal issues, as well as matters concerning corporate governance, crisis management, and federal lobbying activities. Glenn supervised City of Hope's 2002 trial against biotechnology industry leader Genentech, which resulted in a jury verdict in excess of $300 million in compensatory damages, a verdict upheld by both the California Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. He also successfully defended City of Hope in a comprehensive investigation conducted by the California Attorney General's Office, which resulted in a "no-action" letter, and successfully negotiated with major media organizations, including the CBS News program "60 Minutes" and the Los Angeles Times, regarding coverage of the issues presented in the attorney general's investigation.
