For more than 25 years Greg Hanthorn has been successfully trying disputes ranging from multi-month jury and bench trials to "no discovery" arbitrations. He has extensive experience in fiduciary litigation and class actions (federal securities, RICO, ERISA, insurance, consumer credit, and usury cases) and in major product liability, construction, federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, and leveraged buyout fraud litigation.

Greg represented the estate of Margaret Mitchell's brother in recovering unique papers concerning the book and movie Gone With the Wind. He obtained a permanent injunction against union organizers who were demonstrating against a property owner hosting events during the Democratic National Convention, and he achieved trial court and appellate victories clarifying the duties owed by individual and professional fiduciaries. In the product liability arena, Greg represented R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in a four-month jury trial in Shelby County, Tennessee (defense verdict) and represents other manufacturers of products ranging from respirators for use by workers in manufacturing operations to complex medical equipment.

Greg serves as co-chair of the Ethics and Professionalism Committee for the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association and is a past co-chair of the Professionalism Subcommittee and of the Programs Subcommittee. Greg serves on the Executive Committee of the Lamar Inn of Court and is a member and past chair of the board of directors of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and a member of Berry College's board of visitors.
